Mental Health

Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs)

Mental Health

23% of adults (about 60 million people) in the United States have experienced mental health related issues in a given year. This means mental health impacts 1 in 5 people!

You likely know someone dealing with mental health related issues.

Suicide

Mental Health

Suicide is the 11th leading cause of death in the United States, accounting for 49,000 people per year.

It was the 2nd leading cause of death among individuals between the age of 10-14 and 25-34 and the 3rd leading cause among individuals aged 15-24.

Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs)

Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs)

Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs)

In the United States, there are over 69,000 deaths from traumatic brain injuries (TBIs). This means there are about 190 TBI-related deaths per day.

Those who experience a TBI are more likely to deal with mental health related issues.

OUR 2025 GOAL

MENTAL HEALTH WELLNESS PACKAGES

This year, our foundation has a goal to donate 1000 mental health wellness packages to incoming freshmen in high school across Athens County & Southeast, Ohio.

The Mental Health Wellness Package is so much more than a simple gift. It’s a powerful reminder that Your Mind Matters.

Each package contains items that spark conversation about mental well-being and encourage self-care: inspiring sticker quotes, mindfulness coloring books, stress balls to release tension, and a selection of other uplifting goodies. Our goal is to create a tangible way for students to care for their mental health and to let them know they are not alone on this journey.

**Packages may vary.
